New York, NY – May 15, 2021, CanAm Enterprises (CanAm) is thrilled to announce that its Chief Operating Officer, Christine Chen, has been elected to serve on the IIUSA Board of Directors beginning in 2021.

During her candidacy speech, Ms. Chen addressed, “As all of us in the EB-5 industry carry on during these uncertain times – while the market continues to adapt to the new USCIS regs, as we keep checking in on our investors amid the COVID-19 pandemic and we monitor our EB-5 investments within the economic landscape, and as we consider how best to incorporate integrity measures from the potential new legislation – more than ever, I feel that my experience can contribute to IIUSA”s objectives in the coming years.”

Ms. Chen joined CanAm when it was just getting started in the EB-5 business. Over the past 20 years, Ms. Chen has helped navigate how CanAm has adjusted to changes in USCIS policy and adjudication, the expansion of the Program, the impacts of retrogression, building a successful redeployment platform, and helping to ensure repayment of CanAm’s EB-5 loans despite economic challenges. Ms. Chen has extensive operational experience in taking policy and programmatic changes and implementing them into day-to-day practice.

“It is my privilege to work with my EB-5 industry colleagues to continue defining the standard for best practices even as the EB-5 Program itself continues to evolve so that people around the world can once again see opportunity and security in the EB-5 Program,” added Ms.  Chen.
