Peter Calabrese

Peter Calabrese is the Chief Executive Officer of CanAm Investor Services, LLC, the FINRA registered broker-dealer affiliate of CanAm Enterprises, one of the most successful regional centers in the EB-5 program’s history. Under his leadership, CanAm Enterprises has raised over $3 billion in private placement funds and created more than 100,000 U.S. jobs through its EB-5 projects. Prior to joining CanAm in 2015, Mr. Calabrese worked for 15 years in institutional sales and trading, focusing on equity derivatives and volatility products with firms including ICAP and WallachBeth Capital. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Brown University and holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 66 licenses. Mr. Calabrese regularly hosts webinars analyzing visa bulletin trends and their implications for EB-5 investors.
Charlie Oppenheim

Charles “Charlie” Oppenheim is WR Immigration’s Director of Visa Consulting and one of the world’s foremost authorities on U.S. visa numerical controls. For over two decades, both the White House and Congressional Leadership turned to Mr. Oppenheim for guidance on how the green card numerical control process could be updated to meet intended goals. He worked for the U.S. Department of State for over 43 years as a consular officer in the Bureau of Consular Affairs. From January 1998 through December 2021, he served as Chief of the Immigrant Visa Control and Reporting Division, where his primary responsibility was administering the complex series of annual numerical limitations on immigrants, subdivided by preference category and country, as set by the Immigration and Nationality Act. His decisions resulted in applicants using over nine million numerically controlled immigrant visa numbers. Mr. Oppenheim was responsible for publishing the monthly Visa Bulletin and hosted the State Department’s popular “Chat with Charlie” YouTube series, where he explained visa availability trends to the immigration community.
Joey Barnett
Partner, WR Immigration
Joey Barnett is a Partner at WR Immigration (formerly Wolfsdorf Rosenthal LLP) and a member of the firm’s EB-5 and business immigration practices. He is licensed as an attorney in Illinois, Wisconsin, and the District of Columbia, and practices exclusively in immigration and nationality law. Mr. Barnett has extensive experience representing immigrant investors seeking permanent residency in the United States through USCIS-designated Regional Centers and investment in their own businesses. He also counsels U.S. businesses and developers in creating, managing, and using Regional Centers for the receipt of EB-5 capital to create jobs for U.S. workers. Mr. Barnett currently serves on the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s (AILA) EB-5 Committee and is a member of the IIUSA Editorial Board. He was selected by industry peers as a Top 5 Rising Star in EB-5 in 2019 and was named one of the Top 25 Immigration Attorneys in 2023 by EB5 Investors Magazine. He was also selected for inclusion in the 2023 edition of The Best Lawyers in America®.
