CanAm’s Rural Broadband Project will finance the development, construction, and equipment purchase expenditures related to the installation of broadband fiber-optic cable across geographies that qualify as “Rural Area” under the EB-5 Regional Center Program. The installation will provide internet service access to approximately 80,000 households that currently lack access to high-speed internet service of this caliber. An independent analysis demonstrated that the Rural Broadband Project will create more than 2,300 jobs, which exceeds the combined job creation requirements for 100 EB-5 investors.
