Kristal J. Ozmun is a Partner at Miller Mayer, LLP, where she serves as Managing Partner of the firm’s General Immigration Practice Group and maintains a significant EB-5 practice. She represents a broad range of individual and business immigration clients, with particular expertise in employment-based categories including extraordinary ability (EB-1A), national interest waivers, and the EB-5 preference category. In her EB-5 practice, Ms. Ozmun advises regional centers on immigration, corporate, and securities law compliance, including USCIS designation, governance, and new commercial enterprise matters. She also counsels individual EB-5 investors through the full immigration process. Ms. Ozmun has developed a specialized focus on physician immigration, including J-1 waiver applications and H-1B strategies for residents and fellows, and is known for her practical guidance at the intersection of clinical training timelines and immigration planning. She is a recognized speaker and writer on immigration law topics, having published in Benders Immigration Bulletin and EB-5 Magazine, among others. Ms. Ozmun was named to EB5 Investors Magazine’s Top 25 Immigration Attorneys list in 2021 and 2023, and was recognized as a Top 10 Rising Star in the EB-5 industry. She serves as Co-chair of the Best Practices Committee of Invest in the USA (IIUSA) and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She is admitted to the New York and Massachusetts bars, earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, and her B.A. from the College of Charleston.
