For thousands of skilled professionals, researchers, and physicians in the United States, life on an H-1B or J-1 visa often means living in cycles of renewal, employer dependency, and uncertainty about the long road to permanent residency. With per-country backlogs stretching decades for some applicants, many are looking for an alternative path forward.
Join CanAm Enterprises and Miller Mayer for a focused conversation on how EB-5 and concurrent filing can serve as a hedge against H-1B uncertainty. Our speakers will walk through the structural and administrative challenges facing H-1B holders today, explain how EB-5 addresses many of them, and make the case for pursuing both an investment-based and an employer-sponsored path simultaneously.
Whether you are weighing your options for the first time or comparing EB-5 against other employment-based categories, this session will give you the practical context you need to make an informed decision.
What You Will Learn
- The structural and administrative challenges facing H-1B holders today, including issues specific to physicians

- The EB-5 process from both an immigration and investment perspective
