Sharline L. Rodríguez is the Vice President of Business Operations. Ms. Rodríguez oversees daily operations for CanAm, including investor onboarding, investment-related communications to clients, attorneys and other EB-Visa stakeholders, and reporting on summary statistics that track each phase of the EB-5 process.
Ms. Rodríguez collaborates with CanAm’s global team to implement efficiencies in the company’s daily business operations, identifying best practices to enhance performance in overall operations, sales team support, investment information services and related programs. Ms. Rodríguez also prepares the documentation behind the company’s forensic audit that produces CanAm’s industry-leading track record for I-526 and I-829 petition approvals, as well as the over $2 billion in capital repayments to over 4,000 EB-5 investor families.
Ms. Rodríguez joined CanAm in 2011 as a Client Relations Associate and has extensive knowledge of both CanAm operations and the EB-5 industry. Ms. Rodríguez holds a FINRA Series 7 license and is CanAm’s representative for the Latin American market.
Joan Hull has more than 20 years of experience building client relationships around the world. Most recently, she led relationship management for the Americas at the World Gold Council. Prior to that, Joan spent nine years at International Value Advisers managing global client relationships as well as leading marketing and communications strategies. Previously, she held business development roles at First Eagle Investment Management, Brown Brothers Harriman, and Bear Stearns.
A graduate of Franklin & Marshall College with a BA in Biology and Psychology, Joan is also a CFA charter holder.
Thomas Vincz is Public Relations and Communications Manager for CanAm Enterprises. Mr. Vincz heads CanAm’s media relations activities and develops CanAm marketing, advertising, and social media communications, working closely with the Global Marketing Director.
Mr. Vincz has more than 30 years of PR experience, serving in leadership roles in public and private industry. Prior to joining CanAm, Mr. Vincz worked with a major health insurer for 12 years and as Communications Director for the NJ Treasury Department for eight years. He previously served in a communications capacity for elected leaders in state and local government after a career as a broadcast and print journalist.
Mr. Vincz holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from West Virginia University and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
Frank has been a specialist in the business immigration field for 7 years, plus more than 6 years in banking industry and international business, he has intensive experience in start-up businesses, capital investment, and file processing of Canada and U.S.A immigration programs. Frank is very knowledgeable in the Vietnamese market and has helped a large number of Vietnamese families to successfully achieve their immigration dreams. His philosophy is the priority of the partners’ and clients’ benefit and security.
Mr. Chawla worked as a senior finance executive with over 20 years of experience in the banking and EB-5 sectors. In particular, he specialized in managing and servicing Ultra-High-Net Worth clients with net worth greater than $10 million. During that tenure, Mr. Chawla served as a Vice President at Deutsche Bank in the Private Wealth Management division, actively involved in collateralizing credit solutions for the promoters’ working capital and offshore funding requirements, managing promoter wealth and family office clients.
Mr. Chawla holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Science and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Ahmedabad, India.
Min Wu is the Head of Asia.
As the Head of Asia at CanAm Enterprises, Ms. Wu’s main responsibilities are to promote CanAm’s private equity (PE) real estate investments among high net-worth investors and to develop channel partners for both EB-5 and PE investment across key Asian markets. Since joining CanAm in early 2016, Ms. Wu has worked extensively with investors and consultants around the world. Ms. Wu assists investors through their entire EB-5 investment cycle and continues to help them evaluate and select suitable alternative investments to achieve their family’s long-term financial security in the U.S.
Prior to joining CanAm, Ms. Wu has more than 10 years of experience working as a financial analyst and institutional sales manager, promoting data and intelligence products to banks and hedge funds. Ms. Wu is a Charted Financial Analyst and holds the FINRA Series 7, and 63 licenses. She graduated with a master’s degree in financial management in the U.S. and earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting & taxation in China.

Evonne Chua is the Vice President of Client Relations, responsible for CanAm’s valued clients in the Southeast Asia region. She has nearly 20 years of extensive work experience in the immigration industry.
Ms. Chua started her career as a registered Australia Migration Agent helping hundreds of overseas professionals and businessmen relocate to Australia. Prior to joining CanAm, she worked at EB-5 Investor Magazine as the Director of Community Relations & International Marketing. During that time, she has organized many successful EB-5 seminars and conferences for high net worth individuals and collaborating with EB-5 vendors throughout the global markets. Ms. Chua has garnered a great reputation for her endearing personality, positivity, and most importantly, honestly and integrity in her work.
She is currently a Justice of Peace (Qualified) in Australia and holds both Australia and U.S. residencies.
Richard Alanthwaite is the Vice President for CanAm Enterprises overseas operation in Hong Kong.
Mr. Alanthwaite was with the Canadian government for 12 years where he held senior positions such as; Manager Canadian Immigration Center, Manager of Recruitment & Settlement, New Brunswick Region and A/Director of Immigration in the New Brunswick Region. Additionally, Mr. Alanthwaite worked as a Visa Officer at the Canadian Embassy, Islamabad, Pakistan (1979-1981) and as an Entrepreneurial Development Officer, Business Immigration Unit at the then Commission for Canada in Hong Kong (1987-1989), currently known as The Canadian Consulate General, Hong Kong & Macau.
Upon leaving the Canadian government, Mr. Alanthwaite owned and operated an immigration consulting firm in Hong Kong for 22 years which was trusted by over 3,300 clients. Mr. Alanthwaite has also worked as a Consultant to other immigration and law firms in Hong Kong, Macau, China, Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia, South Korea, Vietnam, Canada, etc.
Mr. Alanthwaite was graduated with bachelor’s degrees from both the University of Waterloo and the University of New Brunswick in Canada. He has served as a Vice-President of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and as the Chairman of the University of New Brunswick (Hong Kong) Alumni Association.
Ahmed M. Khan is CanAm’s VP of the Middle East and South Asia. Ahmed practiced EB-5 law for prominent EB-5 law firms in the U.S. for over 5 years before joining CanAm, and now heads the firm’s EB-5 growing practice in the Middle East and South Asia. Having filed more than 500 individual EB-5 cases, Ahmed possesses extensive knowledge about the EB-5 process and common Source of Funds issues. Additionally, Ahmed has been featured on numerous EB-5 informational panels, seminars, and other speaking engagements, including TiE Global Seminars, EB-5 Investor Magazine Conferences, and ILW Investor Seminars.
Cuina Chen is the Vice President of the Investor Relations Department. Ms. Chen is responsible for overseeing and maintaining relationships with all of CanAm’s subscribed investors, which includes fielding daily telephone and email communications, as well as assisting in the drafting and translation of, and distributing investor letters and updates. Upon joining CanAm in 2011, Ms. Chen quickly became the point-person for investors inquiring on project progress, and status of their EB-5 petitions, and since then has acted as a liaison between CanAm and its clientele. Ms. Chen works to coordinate with Executive Management and CanAm’s global team regarding agent requests and disputes related to their investors. Ms. Chen also arranges and conducts investor meetings, and project site visits, which contributes to investors’ trust and confidence in CanAm and its projects.
Prior to joining CanAm, Ms. Chen had a background in global client service. Ms. Chen earned a Bachelor of Science degree from CUNY John Jay in 2011, where she majored in Public Administration and minored in Economics.
