Matthew T. Galati

Matthew T. Galati is the Principal and Founder of Galati Law, a Philadelphia-area immigration law firm he established in 2020 after two decades of practice at leading immigration firms. He focuses the majority of his practice on EB-5 investor immigration and E-2 treaty investor matters, having prepared hundreds of I-526, I-526E, and I-829 petitions throughout his career. In addition to investor immigration, Mr. Galati represents clients in extraordinary ability cases and litigates on behalf of immigrants facing agency delays or denials, including mandamus actions that have successfully resolved EB-5 backlogs in federal court. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and History from the University of Virginia in 2007 and his Juris Doctor, with honors, from The George Washington University Law School in 2010.

Mr. Galati is a nationally recognized thought leader in the EB-5 program and a frequent speaker at domestic and international industry conferences. He has served on the AILA National EB-5 Committee since 2018 and received AILA’s Joseph Minsky Young Lawyer Award in 2022 for outstanding contributions to the field of immigration and nationality law. EB-5 Investors Magazine has named him a Top 25 EB-5 Attorney and honored him with its Rising Star Award, and The Legal Intelligencer named him one of its “Lawyers on the Fast Track” in 2019. SuperLawyers has listed him as a Rising Star in business immigration every year since 2016.
