LA BioMed, now the Lundquist Institute, is one of the country’s leading nonprofit biomedical research institutes. In order toexpand and update its facilities, LA Biomed moved all ofits research and support functions into a modern space on an integrated, interactive, and attractive complex that accommodates a new state-of- the-art, biomedical research building. The new four-story research building allows the Lundquist Institute to promote cutting-edgeresearch and collaboration, provide advanced equipment and core facilities, attract and retainpromising new and experienced scientists, and build upon its long-standing relationship with Harbor- UCLA Medical Center.
