LA BioMed, now the Lundquist Institute, is one of the country’s leading nonprofit biomedical research institutes. In order to expand and update its facilities, LA Biomed moved all of its research and support functions into a modern space on an integrated, interactive, and attractive complex that accommodates a new state-of- the-art, biomedical research building. The new four-story research building allows the Lundquist Institute to promote cutting-edge research and collaboration, provide advanced equipment and core facilities, attract and retain promising new and experienced scientists, and build upon its long-standing relationship with Harbor- UCLA Medical Center.
