The Kalaeloa Solar One project on O‘ahu, Hawaii, developed a 4MW solar thermal power plant, the largest of its kind in the state. The $32 million initiative, supported by a $12 million EB-5 loan, utilizes SOPOGY’s micro-concentrated solar technology to generate 7.8 million kWh annually, powering 1,150 homes and reducing the need for 13,475 barrels of imported oil. This project showcases innovative renewable energy solutions and advances Hawaii’s sustainability goals.
