Kimpton Hotels redeveloped the historic American Institute of Architects building in Philadelphia into the $93.5 million Hotel Palomar. Supported by a $6 million EB-5 loan, the 234-room boutique hotel preserved the building’s historic façade and incorporated a 120-seat restaurant, a 2,100-square-foot ballroom, and meeting spaces. Located in Center City, the project blended luxury accommodations with historical preservation, contributing to Philadelphia’s vibrant hospitality and tourism sectors.
