The Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC), Philadelphia's non-profit economic development agency, and CanAm Enterprises, LLC, are pleased to introduce the PIDC Regional Center, which offers investment opportunities pursuant to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) EB-5 Investor Visa Program.
Since our designation as a regional center by the USCIS on February 28, 2003, close to 400 applicants have already been approved through the PIDC Regional Center, and over $200 million have been raised for the City of Philadelphia through the Fund's investments, creating thousands of new qualifying jobs.
Based on a reputation of credibility and trust, the PIDC Regional Center is fully committed to providing comprehensive services to our clients. We will see each immigrant investor through the complete immigration process, from the selection of an investment project for the initial application to receiving a permanent green card. |

ADVANTAGES
There are a number of advantages in applying for a U.S. Immigrant Investor EB-5 visa through the PIDC Regional Center.
Our experience
We have nearly 20 years of experience in immigrant investor visa programs, both in the U.S. and abroad including the PIDC Regional Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Regional Center with the PA Department of Community & Economic Development (DCED) in Pennsylvania; the Los Angeles Film Regional Center, with EI Capital, in Los Angeles, and was recently awarded the contract to administer the Hawaii Regional Center with the State Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism (DBEDT). We have a staff with in-depth knowledge of the latest immigration procedures and requirements related to the Program. For our Regional Centers, CanAm has raised more than $429 million for projects totally $2 billion.
Our relationship with PIDC
All our projects are reviewed and recommended by PIDC, the official economic development arm of the City of Philadelphia. PIDC has nearly fifty years of experience developing economic initiatives to create and retain jobs for the City. PIDC also monitors all our projects for the life of the investment, including job creation.
Our projects
All our projects are with reputable Philadelphia businesses, each with strong financial standing and committed to creating new jobs in the City of Philadelphia.
Our job creation methodology
All our projects are based on direct job creation, which are new, full-time jobs to the City of Philadelphia. Each project is required to provide a detailed job creation forecast based on a business plan specifying its employment needs, which are carefully reviewed and evaluated by PIDC prior to their recommendation of the project to us. Throughout the life of the project, these direct jobs are closely monitored by PIDC, using PIDC's own job reporting forms and supplemented by the project's employment records. Indirect job creation is based on these new, direct jobs.

PERMANENT GREEN CARDS (I-829) APPROVED PROMPTLY
Sample of I-829 Approval Letters.
Well in advance of the earliest submission dates for the I-829 petitions, the PIDC Regional Center discussed at length with representatives of the USCIS the evidentiary documentation required to demonstrate that the petitioners' investments in the
PIDC
Regional Center's projects fulfilled the job creation requirements of the Program.
Based on these discussions, we compiled documentation regarding the establishment of the limited partnership, the petitioners' investment in the limited partnership, the petitioners' participation in the limited partnership, and most importantly, the job creation by the limited partnership's investment so that the supporting documentation for the I-829 applications would be as comprehensive as possible and satisfy all USCIS requirements.
Consistent with our policy to provide comprehensive services to all of our investors, each I-829 petition will receive the same attention to detail before being submitted to USCIS for adjudication. |
Testimonials from approved I-829 investors
"We have had an excellent experience with the PIDC Regional Center. We were one of the first investors to sign up. Although we were very interested the investment project they offered, we were at first uncertain because no one else had submitted an application. However, they worked very hard to make sure our application was very thorough, and since the beginning, they have been in regular communication with us and have answered all our questions. We received reports about the status of our investment so that before we even submitted our application for the unconditional green card, we knew that the investment project had already created more than enough jobs. Our I-829 conditional removal was approved less than a month after our application was submitted.
We are very happy and excited that everything has turned out so successfully and are confident that we will be as successful with our investment as we have been with our immigration. We highly recommend the PIDC Regional Center to anyone."

"Our family is very satisfied with our lives here in the US. We have settled here in California, we bought a home, and both my children are attending school. Also, our son just got accepted to the prestigious University of California at Berkeley, and he can now attend the university as permanent green card holder, because we just received our permanent green cards by mail within two months after our I-829 application was approved. I had an excellent experience with my investment in Philadelphia (PIDC) Regional Center Program because CanAm and everyone involved were really professional and kind. I can now confidently recommend the Philadelphia Regional Center Program to others based on our own experience."

Comcast Center Topped Off
June 18, 2007. Comcast Center, Philadelphia's tallest new skyscrapper, was topped off with a statue of William Penn on its beam. There is a myth that Philadelphia's sports teams will not win championships if a building is built taller than City Hall, which also hold a statue of William Penn on its top.
